Install and set up

Get started in three steps

Download and extract

Choose the macOS or Windows version, extract it, and place the app in a permanent location.

Enter connection details

開啟程式，輸入Digital Trail網址、Account中的連線碼與使用者名稱。The connection code is stored in the operating system's secure storage, not a regular settings file.

Confirm consent and permissions

The app starts organizing computer use only after the notice and system permissions are confirmed.

macOS：Allow the app in System Settings → Privacy & Security → Screen Recording.
Windows：The current Windows release is unsigned, so SmartScreen may appear during the first installation.

Automatic update checks

The app checks the server for updates at startup and every 6 hours.When an update is available, the tray offers Update now or Later. The app verifies the release signature and SHA-256 before replacing and restarting; if startup fails, it rolls back to the previous version.

Download security

  • The macOS release uses Developer ID signing, Hardened Runtime, and Apple notarization.
  • Windows 目前為未簽章版，可能顯示 SmartScreen；電腦端會先驗證 CodeNet 的更新簽名，未通過驗證的檔案不會安裝。
  • 連線碼與Device憑證Retention在 Keychain／Credential Manager，不會打包進執行檔。
  • Use the SHA-256 above to verify the downloaded file.
